2-Day Christmas Trip to Paris

Saturday 19 December – Sunday 20 December 2026

 

Paris during the Christmas season is a truly magical destination. The city is beautifully illuminated with thousands of lights, especially along the Champs-Élysées and around famous landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower. Christmas markets can be found throughout the city, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy hot chocolate, local delicacies, and festive gifts. The charming cafés, decorated shopping streets, and winter atmosphere make Paris especially romantic during this time of year. Ice-skating rinks, spectacular department store window displays, and special Christmas events add to the unique festive experience.

Day 1 – Saturday, 19 December 2026

Departure is scheduled at 06:00 AM from your designated pick-up point in Eindhoven. After one or more comfort stops along the way, you will travel to Paris, arriving at the hotel at approximately 12:00 PM. Hotel rooms will be available from 3:00 PM onwards. In the meantime, luggage can be stored safely in the hotel’s luggage room.

The remainder of the afternoon is free for you to explore Paris at your own pace. A visit to one of the city's Christmas markets is highly recommended. The beautifully illuminated Galeries Lafayette, with its magnificent Christmas decorations and impressive holiday displays, is also well worth a visit.

Upon departure, you will receive tickets for a 70-minute Seine River cruise. These tickets are flexible, allowing you to choose when you would like to take the cruise (including on 20 December if preferred). Tip: A cruise in the evening offers breathtaking views of Paris illuminated by festive lights. Cruises depart from Bateaux Mouches every 20 minutes during operating hours, and no advance reservation is required.

Day 2 – Sunday, 20 December 2026

After breakfast at the hotel, you may check out at your leisure and store your luggage in the hotel’s luggage room. The entire morning is free for your own activities.

At 1:00 PM, you will have the opportunity to join a short coach tour (departing from the hotel) past some of Paris’s most famous landmarks. Highlights include the Eiffel Tower, a drive along the Champs Elysees towards the Louvre, and finally Sacré-Coeur and the artists’ square Place du Tertre in Montmartre. At these locations, there will be opportunities to get off the coach, walk around, and take photographs.

At 4:30 PM, all guests are requested to return to the hotel. After collecting your luggage from storage, departure for Eindhoven is scheduled no later than 5:00 PM. A comfort stop will be made along the way. Arrival at the DAF premises in Eindhoven is expected at approximately 11:30 PM.

Hotel B&B Paris 17 Batignolles

B&B HOTEL Paris 17 Batignolles is located in the north-west of Paris, just 50 meters from the Porte de Clichy Metro and RER station. This modern hotel offers elegant, soundproofed rooms equipped with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.

Each room features an LCD satellite TV, a desk, a safe, and tea and coffee-making facilities. The private bathroom is fitted with a bathtub and hairdryer.

A generous breakfast buffet is served every morning, offering both sweet and savory options. Guests can enjoy freshly baked croissants, traditional French baguettes, multigrain bread, fresh fruit, dairy products, cold cuts, scrambled eggs and bacon. The hotel reception is open 24 hours a day for your convenience.

The hotel is located approximately 2 kilometers from the famous Moulin Rouge in the Montmartre district. Thanks to the excellent public transport connections from Porte de Clichy, major Parisian attractions such as the Eiffel Tower, the Champs-Élysées and Notre-Dame are easily and directly accessible.

The DAF Personnel Association Eindhoven offers its members and their resident family members this Christmas Trip to Paris for only €119 per person. Non-members can join for €149 per person.
