HIRE A TRAILER
(MEMBERS ONLY)
Available for hire by PV members: reliable trailers + motor trailers at low cost.
The PV board has purchased one more trailer (one with canopy) and one of old the trailers has been replaced. So we currently have four trailers.
The following rates apply:
€10.00 per day
€20.00 per weekend
€40.00 per week
• 1 motor trailer, roadworthy, 320 kg, max. weight 1000 kg
• 1 trailer with canopy, size 305x153, roadworthy, 305 kg; max. weight 800 kg.
This trailer may be used for moving house, among other things (not for landfill and garden waste transport)
• 1 trailer, size 300x130, roadworthy, 401 kg; max. weight 2000 kg
• 1 trailer, size 280x155, roadworthy, 372 kg; max. weight 1250 kg
Please note: check your driving licence and your car, in many cases a BE driving licence is required.

The required B or BE driving licence partly depends on the vehicle used. As a general rule, a BE driving licence is prescribed for trailers with a maximum weight of more than 750kg. The legislation can be consulted here.
